New for 2017: DGNB certification for interior spaces and KfW incentives

We spend up to 90 percent of our time inside buildings. How these buildings look, and which materials we are surrounded by when we are inside, affect our sense of well-being and our productivity.

To specifically promote sustainable architecture in interior design, the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) has added a further certification option to its programme: At the start of this year, the organisation rolled out a sustainability certification for the layout and design of interior spaces. Also new for 2017: DGNB building certifications are now eligible for KfW incentives. For further details on these new developments and who could benefit from them, take a look at our Trending Topics.
