tremco illbruck at BAU 2017. That’s how perfect sealing, bonding and fixing works

In the two years since the last BAU exhibition, tremco illbruck of Cologne has once again achieved a great deal.

From 16 - 21 January 2017, this pioneer of the sealing sector will once again be showcasing innovative products for all areas of construction, intelligent systems for the flawless and integral sealing of building envelopes and the company’s comprehensive service provisions for consultancy, training and detail planning. tremco illbruck's stand is located in Hall A2.111.

tremco illbruck's portfolio includes highly specialised products for airtight building envelopes, i.e. for façades, complex window sealing, “tighter inside than out” and interior finishing. Combined into systems – such as “illbruck i3”, the “pre-wall installation system” or the “illbruck airtight concept”, they offer several suitable products for every construction situation and an unmatched number of combination options. Extensive inspections for practical suitability and safety for health guarantee excellent, flawless and economical results which impress planners, users and building contractors.

illbruck: Making it perfect.

illbruck JF100 joint filler is one of the innovative products which tremco illbruck will be introducing at BAU. This newly patented, 100% isocyanate-free high performance foam has the EC1PLUS “very low in emissions” certification. Not only is it very economical, it is also very simple and clean to use. The JF100 joint filler is one of the products from the “healthy sealing” category which tremco illbruck developed for the research project “My Future Office”. In this project, which has just been launched, the Sentinel Haus Institut and TÜV Rheinland looked into what a healthy workplace of the future might look like. On 17 January, the project will be presented at BAU (room B61 in Hall B6, 1st floor, from 14:00 to 16:00).

With the FX760 guard bracket, tremco illbruck will be presenting a new component within the illbruck i3 system which has been checked to ETB technical building regulations. It fulfils the requirements and provides security against falls in accordance with ETB technical building regulations and DIN 18008-4 (formerly TRAV) and is suitable for large joint depths of up to 30 mm.

In the duo window membrane range there are also impressive new additions: the moisture-variable illbruck ME502 Duo Window Membrane – “the unique one” – which prevents installation errors with its patented surface which can be plastered over on both sides and which offers optimal plaster bonding.

illbruck ME508 Duo Window Membrane VV - the “self-bonder” – is distinguished by its all-over self-adhesion which can be repeatedly corrected, with a split foil liner. The integrated functional channel for the highest level of moisture transportation guarantees permanently dry joints.

The illbruck airtight concept system adheres to the strict requirements of EnEV 2016. It ensures that entirely airtight façades and roofs can be created including challenging transitional areas of building components such as corner solutions and includes high-quality specialised vapour barriers, façade films, adhesive bands and adhesives.

An essential component: comprehensive service

The tremco illbruck portfolio would not be complete without providing a comprehensive service. From the simple question of which product is suitable for which construction situation through to detailed planning of complex window and façade joints, the company offers its support. The spectrum encompasses planning apps, stress test and thermal bridge calculators which are available online, training sessions and the hotline as well as sample installations on the building site. The real highlight is the “joint planning team”, which prepares detailed, competent and product-neutral joint types and tender documentation.
